The Dorset Herb Group had its inaugural meeting on the 7th August 2008 and currently has 30 plus members and growing. One of these is one of the Herb Society's patrons, the Earl of Clanwilliam.

At each meeting as well as a talk by a speaker on a wide variety of herbal topics, the group features a herb of the month, herb recipes and general information about all matters herbal, plus a raffle. Come and join us and enjoy meeting like minded people over a cup of tea and cake.

Dorset Herb Group meetings are held at

Wimborne Community  Learning and Resource Centre, 41-44 King Street, Wimborne Dorset, BH21  1EB.   Situated within the King Street car park, next to the Minster.

Mission statement

To meet as friends to discover and share the love and knowledge of all aspects of herbs.

Subscription

There is no subscription fee, members and non members pay £3.00 to attend each meeting, refreshments (tea and homemade cake) are available for an extra £1.00 per event.

NON MEMBERS ARE WELCOME AT ANY MEETING

Where meetings include practical demonstrations a small charge may apply to cover the cost of materials.
