Betonica offers a four-year programme that combines modern science with traditional herbal knowledge, created for those who want a strong medical grounding while keeping holistic care for people at the heart of their work.
The course is mostly self-directed online study, with monthly in-person seminars where you’ll get hands-on experience, practise clinical skills, and spend time learning alongside a supportive group of educators and fellow students.
You’ll study a wide range of subjects, including Materia Medica, Botany, Pharmacology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology and Clinical Skills, giving you a strong and balanced foundation for expert clinical practice.
Along the way, you’ll also complete at least 500 supervised clinic hours, helping you build confidence and experience working with patients, overseen by professional medical herbalists.
