Herbal Storyteller Amanda Edmiston from Aberdeen rehearses her show Enchanted Garden: Paths of Stories at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh ahead of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival which will run from 17 - 31 October. Amanda's story walks in the gardens inspired by pioneering Scotswoman, Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to publish a herbal guide in 1737.

In this new promenade event and interactive story-walk Amanda shares stories and legends about the trees in the garden along with insights into the role they played at a tumultuous point of history and the remedies and traditional uses they were known for and still offer today. It is one of a series of events at this year's festival which will host a mix of online and in-person storytelling experiences in Edinburgh across Scotland.
