Rose petal and chocolate cookies

Herbs are a lovely way to bring a seasonal touch to your cooking, and they’re healthy too (honest!)
Infuse your baking with care.
Just two roses makes approximately 18 biscuits

Ingredients

200g softened butter
180g caster sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
325g white spelt flour
50g chopped dark chocolate
Petals from 2 roses

Preparation

Oven 180 or 160 fan, gas 4
Line baking trays with baking parchment

Method

1. Combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add egg, vanilla extract and flour.
3. Add chocolate and petals.
4. Wet hands and firm dough into falls flatten slightly ,space well as they spread.
5. Bake for approximately 15minutes, until pale golden colour.
6. Allow to firm up on tray, then move to wire rack.
