March 23 @ 10:00 am - March 24 @ 4:00 pm

A two day practical workshop.

Learning to plant and cultivate a herb garden will enable you have organic, top quality, fresh herbs to use for teas and remedies whenever you need them, as well as be able to enjoy being with the plants whenever you want to!

This is a practical course covering sourcing good quality seeds and herb plants, how to cultivate, nurture and propagate them, when to harvest and how to dry them, a discussion of design and the principles making a herb garden.

Depending on the season, we will be sowing seeds, taking cuttings, dividing roots, mulching, composting, making foliar feeds, harvesting and drying roots and flowers.  You are welcome to bring a plan of your garden to discuss possibilities of design and planting plans.
