Seasonal Medicine Making Day ~ Spring/Summer

In the not too distant past, people would join together across the seasons to share in medicine making from nature’s bounty, as well as to benefit from the balm of gathering in community. These seasonal workshops will guide you through how to make and use seasonal herbal remedies of your own, complete with course book and remedies to take home.

We’ll get hands on learning how to make four different types of herbal remedies, as well as when and how to use them and which herbs are best suited to each preparation.

In the Spring/Summer, we’ll be making tinctures, vinegars, salves and teas.

On the day, you’ll receive a course booklet that contains everything we discuss for future reference.

All supplies for remedy making are included and, of course, you’ll get to take all the herbal preparations you make on the day home with you for your own home apothecary!

This workshop is one of a series of two taking place each half year at the beautiful Scampston Walled Garden. Each workshop can be taken on its own or in combination with the other season. There is a discounted rate for booking both seasons in advance, so do be sure to purchase your preferred ticket option.
